Salary Rate: $40,000 - $42,966

Duties and Responsibilities

• The CPP Specialist performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject area.
• The CPP Specialist meets SMART Goals established by management every Program Year.
• Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to insure maximum learning and student motivation.
• Establishes a high degree of student/instructor rapport.
• Utilizes all possible curriculum resources available.
• Responsible for adequate classroom preparation, student folders, and daily attendance.
• Maintains student personnel folders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer Bachelor's degree in Education with a major in English, Social Studies, or related field.
• Prefer one year in a teaching capacity with disadvantaged youth.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
