Viking Packing Specialist (an FCA Packaging brand) - Packaging & Crating Solutions Provider 501 E Ben White Blvd, Suite C, Austin, TX 78704 Shift: Early morning starts (~5:00 AM-7:00 AM depending on delivery schedule) Home Every Night Full-Time Position About Us Viking Packing Specialist is a trusted provider of custom packaging solutions, including ISPM-15 certified wooden crates, corrugated containers, metal cases, and dangerous goods packaging for a range of industries. Our team builds crating and shipping solutions that protect critical equipment and materials for customers nationwide. Key Responsibilities Driver Duties: Safely operate and drive a 23-foot box truck to deliver packaging and crates to customer sites and job locations. Load and unload freight and materials using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.). Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report issues promptly. Plan efficient delivery routes and ensure on-time deliveries each day. Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records. Production Support: Assist the production team in building and assembling wooden crates and packaging products. Operate basic production tools, help with measuring, cutting, assembly, and finishing tasks. Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety guidelines. Help with moving materials and organizing inventory in the production area. Schedule Early start times (approximately 5:00-7:00 AM), varying by delivery needs. Home nightly - no long hauls or overnight travel. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate a 23" box truck. Comfortable with physical work. Ability to assist in production tasks with attention to quality and safety. Team-oriented attitude and reliable attendance.
