Environment Sanitarian

Clinton County Health Department is looking for an individual for our environmental Health department as an Environmental Sanitarian.  Job description includes inspecting food establishments, designing and inspecting the installation of private septic systems, and inspecting private water wells and closed loop wells.  Hours of work would be Monday thru Friday from 8am to 4: 30pm with weekends off. Starting salary is set by the collective bargaining agreement, and includes benefits such as health insurance, dental, vision, and retirement.  Job includes paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal days.  Minimal requirements are an associates degree with 9 hours of science credits. Higher starting pay if applicant has an LEHP, can be acquired after hiring as well.
