Job Summary:
This position is for a financial specialist to support the Wisconsin Centers for Nanoscale Technology (WCNT). The financial specialist will provide financial support to WCNT staff as well as internal and external users of the facilities. Duties will include center billing, budgeting, expense tracking, financial reporting, preparing purchase orders and assisting staff with purchasing and travel reimbursements. This position reports to the WCNT Director. Partial remote work available after a training period has been completed. Key Job Responsibilities:
The University of Wisconsin - Madison, College of Engineering, Wisconsin Centers for Nanoscale Technologies (WCNT) includes the Nanoscale Fabrication Center (NFC), the Soft Materials Characterization Laboratory (SMCL), and the Nanoscale Imaging and Analysis Center (NIAC). The centers are shared instrumentation facilities providing equipment, facilities, and expertise in nano-fabrication, electron microscopy, micro-analysis, and soft materials characterization. The WCNT supports a broad range of research across UW-Madison by students, staff, faculty, and by external academic and industry users. Compensation:The starting rate for the position is $23.00/hour, but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
