Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their personal financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

As part of the Training & Development team, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of of Ayco's training material throughout the firm.



  • Train new and existing, planners and advisors, in all financial planning pillars, sometimes independently and sometimes in conjunction with advisors or internal SMEs
  • Utilize interactive teaching methods, such as case studies, group discussions, simulations, and technology tools to make training sessions engaging and impactful
  • Design and/or help develop training programs
  • Design, create, and regularly review training materials/case studies/job aids/references that will aid in learning
  • Become a subject matter expert in various technical areas related to Ayco's business, services and products
  • Assist with the overall maintenance of Ayco's learning management system, including evaluating and implementing additional features/enhancements
  • Create and maintain e-learning training content for Ayco's financial counseling businesses, includes other internal groups as needed
  • Act as a technical resource for associates, as needed
  • Work closely with Content Specialists, PMs, and others in a collaborative team environment
  • Support the Training and Development team with other initiatives as requested
  • Associate must understand and adhere to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, quality, client service, information security, and compliance



Skills and Experience We're Looking For



  • Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Strong technical, analytical and research skills
    • Strong ability for creative thinking
    • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team setting, meeting deadlines and contributing to a dynamic and fast- paced environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Exemplary discretion and judgment
    • Detail-oriented focus with strong project management skills
    • Strong ability to influence others, build consensus, and work collaboratively with other departments
    • Self-directed and strategic mindset with a strong desire for innovation
    • Strong ability to anticipate, adapt to, and manage changing priorities and objectives
    • Strong knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Preferred:

    • Advanced Degree - JD, MBA, or CFP
    • 3 - 5 years in the financial services industry
    • Training or teaching experience
    • Articulate and SharePoint software experience
    • Knowledge of the Ayco business lines




Salary Range
The expected base salary for the Albany, Newport Beach, Dallas or Detroit based position range between $75,000 - $110,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
