Position Title: Operations Support

Location: North Chicago, IL, 60064

Duration: 1 Year (Possible Extension)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

Work Arrangement: Onsite initially; transitions to hybrid (WFH Monday & Friday, onsite Tuesday-Thursday)


Position Summary

The Operations Support professional will provide essential operational and administrative support across departmental projects and broader division-wide initiatives. This role involves managing information flow, supporting project activities, coordinating schedules, and maintaining databases with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to deliver consistent, high-quality work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track information and generate accurate, timely reports.
  • Conduct research, document findings, and ensure appropriate follow-through.
  • Support scheduling needs, including meeting coordination and calendar management.
  • Maintain, update, and oversee database systems and related documentation.
  • Assist with project-related tasks to support departmental and cross-functional initiatives.



Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated proactive work style with the ability to meet deadlines, deliver accurate results, and consistently meet expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex or technical information.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks or projects effectively.
  • Experience working with relevant software systems, scientific terminology, document review, and workflows within electronic submission systems is strongly preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor of Science degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
