  • Pacific Northwest Alignment. Reviewing 100 miles of track to determine which side of the track is more feasible for new infrastructure to be placed. Collecting information in excel for review, analysis, and presentation to client.
  • BNSF Sandpoint, ID. Helping prepare typical details for railroad fiber optic conduit running along the tracks and across a new railroad bridge.

General Assignments: Interns will perform routine railway engineering tasks using standard procedures under supervision of Registered Professional Engineers and may assist Hanson engineers, designers and technicians in disciplines related to their field of study.

Interns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which help them build a strong network within the Hanson community and with fellow interns. Internships may require travel to clients, or other Hanson locations.
