The ideal candidate will provide a high level of customer service by providing audit support for various functions within the AP Dept.

Primarily a remote/work from home opportunity in the Dallas, TX area. However, the selected candidate must be available to attend in person meetings and training onsite as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Responsible for monthly tasks/deliverables to ensure that Dept Sox Controls are satisfied
  • Maintains inquiries for the AP Approvals mailbox, to support day to day business needs
  • As the subject matter expert, will provide training and support for fellow AP Audit Team members
  • Act/serve as Quality Control Support for the AP Dept
  • Ensure that Vendor Setup entry is being posted accurately in the ERP, based on customer requests, including appropriate approvals
  • Provide support for Dept Quality Control Audit
  • Meets/Maintains Department SLA for acceptable processing volume
  • Meets/Maintains Department SLA for acceptable quality standards
  • Other duties as assigned by management

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  • High school diploma or GED and 4+ years of Accounting/Finance/Audit related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of general bookkeeping or accounting practices
  • Experience with one or more accounting software packages and/or ERPs


COMPETENCIES



  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency specifically Pivot tables and Vlookups)
  • Ability to type minimum 25 words per minute
  • Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentage, and apply to practical situation
