As a Security Officer - Dispatch Specialist in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, staying visible to promote a sense of security, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the commercial real estate location.
• Receive and respond to calls for service, incidents, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate with security personnel and building staff to relay information, instructions, and updates as needed.
• Document and log all security-related incidents, calls, and activities according to site-specific policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities by following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff, tenants, and visitors.
• Support security personnel by providing information and resources needed to help to deter unauthorized activities or access on the premises.
• Follow all site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols while performing dispatch duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
