About the Role
We're looking for a Compensation and Benefits Analyst who is early in their HR journey and eager to dive deeper and grow in the world of total rewards. In this role, you will report directly to the Global Compensation & Benefits Manager, have hands-on experience across both the day-to-day administration and support in operations and strategic projects. From analyzing data to supporting global initiatives, this is a key role in helping shape our compensation and benefits programs. You'll focus heavily on U.S. and Canadian benefits, and collaborate with global HR teams, contribute to compensation cycles, participate in salary surveys, and help drive data-driven insights across the organization. Benefits (U.S. & Canada Focus)
- Manage and reconcile file feeds between HRIS and benefits vendors (health and wellness, retirement, ancillary programs)
- Support billing and invoice reconciliation for benefit providers
- Process employee eligibility, enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Conduct routine audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist with annual open enrollment; testing system setup, preparing communications, and tracking elections
- Partner with vendors to resolve employee benefit issues and escalate complex cases as needed
- Monitor compliance with plan provisions, ERISA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements
- Prepare reports on plan utilization, enrollment trends, and costs for HR and Finance
Compensation
- Support the annual compensation cycle, including merit increases, promotions, and incentive payments
- Calculate and model bonus and incentive plan payouts
- Run Excel models to analyze salary structures, pay ranges, and compa-ratios alignment
- Participate in salary surveys and assist with benchmarking roles across global markets
- Maintain job documentation, including job descriptions, job catalogues and job evaluation data
- Conduct audits of compensation data to ensure accuracy in HRIS and payroll
- Provide analysis and recommendations for compensation-related decisions
Analytics and Storytelling
- Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and large datasets) to analyze compensation and benefits data
- Build dashboards and standard reports to highlight key trends and metrics
- Develop and deliver presentations to explain findings and tell a clear story to HR, Finance, and leadership
- Partner with HR team members to ensure data-driven decision making
General
- Support HR, Finance, and Payroll with reporting and compliance needs
- Participate in audits, vendor reviews, and special projects as assigned
- Identify process improvement opportunities within compensation and benefits administration
- Grow technical knowledge in global compensation & benefits while building expertise in U.S./Canada practices
- Excel skills beyond the basics: pivot tables, lookups, modeling, and comfort with large datasets
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
- 1 - 2 years of HR experience, ideally in compensation or benefits
- Interest in building a long-term career in Compensation and Benefits
- Organized, resourceful, and eager to learn in a global environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into insights

- Hands-on experience across U.S. and Canadian benefits, a global benefits landscape and global compensation projects
