Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities
- Responsible for developing and managing cross functional, technology led, or product focused programs. Manages budgets and interfaces with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal functions. Manages program resource and budget allocation/integration. Manages schedule, budget, and stage-gate process for New Product Development, requisition, or sustaining programs. Influences the programs to meet customer requirements
- Reviews and understands the applicable standards required by Law in country that apply to the relevant products. Communicates standards to the design community and maintains it. Monitoring for changes in regulations, assessing their impact, and implementing necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.
- Act as Liaison with independent third parties to perform product compliance and certification work (testing, design review etc.) and communicates results/actions to the relevant engineering and supply chain team. Interacts with outside engineering firms or governmental agencies to provide or record product compliance to required regional or national standards to gain the needed product certification or qualification.
- Delivers products as part of a team. Works on cross functional teams. Perform Product Risk assessment during design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
- Works together with all levels of internal and external leadership. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering/Technology).
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Technical Regulations and Standards.
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Program Management.
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Artificial lift product knowledge (preferred).
