Our nearly 1,100 coworkers are dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective generation to California in an environmentally responsible manner. Our hydro facilities include 62 conventional hydro powerhouses, a pumped-storage facility, 98 reservoirs, 168 dams and more than 200 miles of canals and flumes, among other water conveyances. Natural gas-fired plants in operation are Humboldt Bay Generating Station in Eureka; Colusa Generating Station in Colusa County and Gateway Generating Station in Antioch. Several utility-scale solar generation plants also are operated and maintained, as well as PG&E's successful entry into battery energy storage, our Elkhorn Battery facility at Moss Landing in Monterey County. Position Summary Key contributor to Power Generation's investment planning process through the Long Term Plan (LTP), including integration with the enterprise process (Business Plan Deployment), near-term tool and process upgrades (SAP S/4 Hana aka Propel, Copperleaf decision analytics), and build-out of process improvement initiatives. Supports the General Rate Case (GRC) filing, Electric Resource Recovery Account (ERRA) filing and other testimonies and justifications. May also support benchmarking activities and assessment of operations through metrics development. Develops and/or presents expert witness testimony as a representative for PG&E to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. May support project-specific life-cycle economic analyses to support decision-making on relicensing negotiations, potential divestiture, decommissioning studies, and new generation facilities, and specific economic and financial project feasibilities for multi-million-dollar investments. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and assigned location, subject to change per business needs. PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs. A reasonable salary range is: Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 136,000.00 Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 202,400.00 OR Minimum Base Salary (California) $ 129,000.00 Maximum Base Salary (California) $ 192,500.00 Job Responsibilities
