Responsible for promoting the health and well-being of students, managing medical emergencies, and implementing health promotion programs while collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to create a healthy and safe school environment that supports optimal learning and growth.

Essential Functions
-Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students and staff members in affiliated schools.

-Assess and address students' health needs, including administering medications, managing chronic health conditions, and performing health screenings.

-Develop individualized health plans and accommodation plans for students with specific health needs, ensuring their safety and well-being during school hours.

-Conduct health assessments, screenings, and vision/hearing tests to identify health issues and refer for further evaluation when necessary.

-Educate students and staff on health topics, including nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention, through health promotion programs and training sessions.

-Respond to medical emergencies and injuries that occur during school hours, providing immediate care and coordinating with emergency services if needed.

-Responsible for managing all nursing materials and maintaining student health records.

Experience
Clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting. 5-7 years required and Developing clinical educational materials and teaching / facilitating clinical courses 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated experience in nursing education, curriculum development, and program delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing theory, evidence-based practice, and current healthcare trends and regulations.
- Strong instructional and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners and promote active participation.
- Proficient in utilizing various teaching methods and educational technologies, including online learning platforms and simulation tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with learners, colleagues, and stakeholders.
