Controls Engineer

DEKA Research and Development, housed in Manchester, NH, has an amazing opportunity for a passionate ControlsEngineer. While collaborating within their team, engineers will:

• Develop and maintain control systems for innovative medical and robotic products; write software on a ROS operating system; and write software in C++ for vision systems and for navigation and planning.
• Develop and design new prototype devices using software robotic operating system; use system design and integration as well as linear (PID Controllers)/non-linear control system design techniques.
• Design systems using mechanical, electrical design and software development skills; and model systems using Python programming language.
• Develop medical devices according to FDA design practices.
• Perform failure mode analysis on control systems.

Requirements:

The minimum educational requirements are aBachelor's degreein Mechanical, Electrical,orMechatronics Engineeringandtwoyearsof experience in any suitable occupation relatedto Control Engineering. Experiencewithin both the Electrical and Mechanical disciplines is required.

Experiencemust includeat least:

• 1yearof experience withControls, ROS, vision navigation and planning
• 1yearof experience withPython and C++
• 1yearof experienceusingPID controllers.
