The Cherng Family Center for Integrative Oncology seeks a highly motivated and collaborative Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our dynamic team. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to advance clinical and translational research at the intersection of oncology and evidence-based integrative medicine. As a successful candidate you will: Research Leadership and Execution * Lead and support clinical and translational research projects focused on integrative oncology interventions for cancer symptom management and treatment-related outcomes. * Design, implement, and oversee clinical trials investigating evidence-based integrative modalities including acupuncture, herbal medicine, and mind-body interventions. * Conduct comprehensive data analysis and interpretation of research findings. * Coordinate multi-site research activities and ensure adherence to protocol standards. Quality Management and Compliance * Oversee research coordination and maintain rigorous trial data quality management. * Monitor study progress and implement quality improvement initiatives. Scientific Communication and Grant Development * Prepare manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals. * Contribute to the development of grant proposals and other funding applications. * Present research findings at national and international conferences. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams across institutions. Qualifications Your qualifications should include: * PhD, MD, or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, nursing, pharmacology, or related biomedical sciences). Postdoctoral research experience at a major cancer center or academic medical institution is preferred. * Strong foundation in clinical research methodology and biostatistics * Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Commitment to advancing evidence-based integrative oncology * Experience with multi-center clinical trials in oncology or symptom management. * Knowledge of integrative medicine modalities and their application in cancer care. * Track record of peer-reviewed publications. * Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS, or Stata). * Experience with grant writing and research funding mechanisms.
