Job Summary

The Senior Manager Marketing Operations plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of marketing efforts through the strategic use of technology, data analysis, and process optimization. They are responsible for identifying technology needs, leading the implementation of marketing automation and CRM integrations, and managing incoming leads. Additionally, the Senior Manager executes email campaigns, in-app messaging, and other strategies to improve conversion rates. By designing and maintaining reports on e-commerce activity, they provide insights that drive decision-making. Collaborating with various departments, they ensure a cohesive approach to creating campaigns that boost e-commerce bookings. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities Required to be Successful as a Senior Manager Marketing Operations:



  • Strategy: Plays a major role in marketing strategies and data governance for all the business's marketing campaigns and activities. Communicates, implements, and optimizes new functionality and tools within the marketing department to improve data accuracy and quality, which will in turn bring about better insights and influence creation of better and more effective marketing campaigns. Defines ROI and KPIs for the purpose of shaping and influencing the direction that marketing campaigns will take.
  • Leadership: Attract and develop RevOps talent including campaign operations, lead management, marketing automation, and seller workflows.
  • Marketing Automation: Oversee the use and management of marketing technology tools, ensuring efficient utilization and scalability.
  • Lead Management: Develop and implement marketing ROI measurement models and lead scoring models to inform marketing strategies and budget allocation. Collaborate closely with the field sales, customer care, and field marketing teams to align processes and systems for lead management, scoring, and nurturing.
  • Funnel Nurturing: Partner with cross-functional teams to build and refine the prospect and customer funnel, enhancing customer experience and conversion rates.
  • Customer Data Management: Monitor and enforce customer and contact data quality standards, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and enable standards for customer data enrichment with various technology partners (D&B, ZoomInfo).
  • Customer Segmentation: Creates and monitors Audiences and Workflows tied to Analytical Marketing programs. Plays a managerial role in managing the maintenance of target segmentation, data cleanliness, and customer touch cadences.
  • Budget Management: Support the VP of Marketing in planning, allocating, tracking and reporting on the annual marketing budget.
  • Campaign Performance: Develop and maintain marketing performance reporting dashboards with clear and compelling data visualizations that communicate the impact of marketing on the overall business for a variety of audiences. Responsible for analysis and improvement recommendations back to business on performance.
  • MarTech Governance: Assist with contract renewals and negotiation across the MarTech stack. Manage and monitor user licensing for marketing tools. Stay up-to-date with marketing technology trends and identify tools or processes that can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field; Masters/MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years marketing experience with at least 5+ years owning and managing Marketing Operations for a large B2B company.
  • 5+ years of experience as a people leader and manager, helping prioritize, motivate, and deliver results.

  • Outstanding writing and presentation skills, with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Must demonstrate solid listening skills and a consultative sales approach, with proven ability to identify and build relationships with C-Level executives and key decision makers.

Target Base Annual Compensation range for this exempt role is $145k - $155k DOE. This is a bonus-eligible position.

This is a Full-Time position, eligible to participate in the Company's benefit plans including: Paid Time off; major medical, dental, vision; Company paid short-term and long-term disability; paid parental leave; various supplemental benefit plans; and Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).

Experience
5 years: Experience as a people leader and manager, helping prioritize, motivate, and deliver results. (required)
