PURPOSE:

To oversee the daily operation of Nickelodeon Universe, with an emphasis on rides locations while ensuring that outstanding guest service, safety and a demonstration of team work is always provided to our internal and external guests.


ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBLITIES:



  • Provide ongoing supervision to all team leads and team members
  • Train,develop and direct staff to consistently place safety and service at the forefront of job duties.
  • Manage, develop and motivate team members for operational efficiencywhileensuringthat all employees are complying with company policy and procedures
  • Ensure that all training is being conducted and documented
  • Perform all payroll functions
  • Provide feedback to team members and resolve team member performance issues
  • Interview and hire new employees
  • Oversee scheduling ofteam members and team leaders for maximum efficiency
  • Emphasize guest service by responding to guests in person, via email, phone or letter about questions, concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor reports on ridership, ticket sales, and expenses.
  • Perform the role of Park One when scheduled
  • Maintain and ensure overall safety and cleanliness for work area
  • Support team members by helping wherever and whenever needed
  • May provide support in other work areas as needed
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:


  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 2-3 years of post-secondary education preferred
  • Previous amusement park experience preferred
  • Previous leadership experience required
  • Must have demonstrated excellence in guest service and safety
  • Must be extremely organized and excel in multi-tasking
  • Basic computer skills

  • Handle larger items such as boxes or packages
