POSITION SUMMARY: The Fund Manager will be an integral member of the Development team, reporting to the Associate Director, Operations. The Fund Manager is responsible for all fund management activities within the Development Office, serving as the primary owner for philanthropic fund integrity and compliance across more than 400 donor-established funds. This includes ensuring all funds are created, classified, and reported in alignment with donor intent, GAAP, IRS regulations, and CASE/AHP standards for philanthropic fund management. This role will be responsible for exception monitoring, flagging funds that are overspent, underspent, or out of compliance with donor intent; documentation and escalation, keeping records, and bringing discrepancies to Finance and Development leadership. The Fund Manager will develop and execute an aligned strategic plan for oversight of donor and restricted fund data, effectively managing more than 400 donor funds through establishing efficient operations and technology utilization for fund reconciliation, tracking, analysis, and documentation management. The Fund Manager will work closely with System Finance & Accounting teams, Development Stewardship, Operations, Frontline Fundraisers, and members of the Development leadership team to ensure fund activity is transparent, auditable, and donor-centered. Compensation Range: $58,000.00- $84,000.00This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness. In addition, BMCHS offers generous total compensation that includes, but is not limited to, benefits (medical, dental, vision, pharmacy), discretionary annual bonuses and merit increases, Flexible Spending Accounts, 403(b) savings matches, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, and resources to support employee and family well-being.
