The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Technician to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of this Quality Technicianinclude, but are not limited to:



  • Technical support of customer quality issues/escapes in relation to RMA's
  • Product review, assist quality engineering with disposition, containment and work orders
  • Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and data
  • Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards & quality procedures manual
  • Determine rework and process work orders
  • Review of rejection trends

  • Sidney, NY
  • 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY
  • 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY


Salary: $42,000 - $65,000

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:



  • High school diploma and at least 5 years of applicable experience OR an associate degree in a technical curriculum and 1 year of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment required
  • Familiarity with quote and order processing preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Data3 software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with customer via phone and email
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs. , and documents
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive problem solving skills
  • Bending, sitting, typing, lifting, standing, etc. daily
  • An annual eye exam must be passed with or without corrective lenses
