Job Description

Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Administrator provides administrative support for an organization's North America (NA) safety programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating training, maintaining safety records, conducting compliance inspections, and assisting with incident investigations. This role supports the EHS Director by managing documentation, reporting, and acting as a point of contact for all NA sites.

Key responsibilities include coordinating training, maintaining safety records, conducting compliance inspections, and assisting with incident investigations. This role supports the EHS Director by managing documentation, reporting, and acting as a point of contact for all NA sites.

What You Will Do:

Responsibilities


  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, accidents, and training sessions.
  • Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with federal, state, and local safety regulations and assist with reporting requirements.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure all federal and state regulatory laws, and organization expectations are in compliance. Assist with developing new or updating inspection forms.
  • Training: Assist in developing and coordinating EHS training and safety topics for all NA operations.
  • Reporting: Assist in creating and submitting reports on EHS activities and compliance. Maintain all OSHA recordkeeping logs for all U.S. based sites.
  • Incident Support: Assist with NA sites on incident reviews and reporting.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the EHS team, including managing communications and data entry.
  • Ensure that all Industrial Hygiene requirements are scheduled, filed and reported.
  • Ensures that safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
  • Monitors compliance with safety and environmental reporting and processes.
  • Prepares and schedules training to cover all environmental compliance requirements.
  • Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.



Qualifications


  • Associates Related Field required
  • 2+ Years Knowledge of Air and Water regulations from the EPA and the TCEQ preferred
  • 2+ Years Knowledge of OSHA regs, NFPA 70E and Industrial Hygiene Best Practices. required
  • 2+ Years Extensive knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and policies required
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Applications and knowledgeable and able to learn other EHS software systems.

Physical Demands

This role is primarily performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. As part of the essential functions of this role, the individual will need to access a factory and be exposed to temperature changes. This may result in being exposed to noise, vibration, chemicals/fumes and navigate around factory machines.
