At HDR, our employee-owners are fully engaged in creating a welcoming environment where each of us is valued and respected, a place where everyone is empowered to bring their authentic selves and novel ideas to work every day. As we foster a culture of inclusion throughout our company and within our communities, we constantly ask ourselves: What is our impact on the world? The primary duties of the Geotechnical EIT are to support the geotechnical group by providing coordination and oversight of field investigations, execution of technical analyses, and development of reports under the oversight of a licensed Geotechnical Engineer. Candidates will have the ability to quickly become familiar with geotechnical investigation techniques and design activities for transportation projects including bridge foundations, embankments, cuts, subgrades, pavements, retaining walls, and ground improvement. Candidates will communicate primarily with internal HDR staff on assignments, but must also be comfortable interacting with HDR's external clients as a secondary point of contact.
