Summary:

In this role, you will drive revenue growth through maintaining relationships and maximizing contract utilization with new and existing members; seeks to recruit new business, incorporating industry and marketplace trends into daily prospecting. You will manage relationships with stakeholders to identify opportunities to accelerate performance through the portfolio by asking questions to uncover member's pain points or problems and advising on solutions across the span of the portfolio. You will manage supplier relationships by creating strategic plans for assigned territory to target, develop, implement new business and retain existing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and enable exceptional provider service by ensuring alignment and optimization of spend management services with provider needs, strategic goals, and priorities.

  • Coordinate all non-acute spend management activity through the spend management delivery team's account planning process.

  • Partner with provider/supplier partners to understand priorities and build a workplan that maximizes revenue growth.

  • Prioritize activities to deliver provider value and contracted Net Admin Fees / Gross Admin Fees.

  • Build and leverage business relationships to promote contracted offerings or Vizient solutions and increase revenue opportunities.

  • Develop and execute yearly strategic account plans for a territory or specified account(s) to drive penetration of contracts and services.

  • Utilize discovery questions and internal business insights & intelligence to recognize opportunities for improvement.

  • Identify, present, and implement opportunities to move spend from off-contract to on-contract.

  • Encourage Providers to participate in Vizient's strategic programs (e.g., Novaplus, Group Buy, Impact Standardization).

  • Document account information into Salesforce (CRM tool) and maintains integrity of membership records; manages member account plans and pipelines.

  • Manage and maintain a diverse pipeline of growth opportunities to maximize revenue potential and provider value.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required. Experience in sales and/or account management role strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of GPO/supply chain, and non-acute pharmacy market.

  • Must have strong analytical, customer service, presentation, and consultative selling skills and work effectively with C-suites.

  • Experience with sales pipeline development and management through Salesforce.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
