  • Design and develop application software in C++ for the 1830 Optical Transport product
  • Design and develop automated tests in a Python automation framework
  • Contribute to architecture/design discussions
  • Participate in SW feature integration and validation
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Investigate and resolve issues found in development, validation testing and customer sites


You have



  • A degree in Computer Science(CS), Computer Engineering(ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), or similar field of study 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Design and develop automated tests in a Python automation framework
  • Design and develop application software in C++ for the 1830 Optical Transport product. Proficient in programming in C, C++
  • Working experience on embedded system development platforms such as Linux
  • Experience in developing Python scripts and test utilities
  • Experience working in a Linux software development environment as well as experience with Agile practices.
  • Familiarity with git and Gerrit. Experience in developing applications for controlling optical components, such as WSS and optical amplifiers.
  • Experience in developing drivers and applications to control HW components
