Job Description




As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Team in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable to residents and guests. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any concerns or incidents to management and/or law enforcement as required.
  • Collaborate with property management and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
  • Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Assist residents and guests with general inquiries and provide directions or support as needed while maintaining a visible presence on the property.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
