Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol in Bay Saint Louis, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical facility, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for any suspicious or unusual behavior within the location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required during incidents or drills.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and promote a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
