As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and contributing to a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible throughout your shift, assist with customer service needs, and communicate clearly with others, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding staff and visitors during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to those on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• Applicants must be able to work in hospital morgue environments.
• Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
