Jackson Healthcare is seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Data Analytics Specialist to join our growing IT and analytics team. In this role you'll bridge the gap between data and decision making by performing deep analysis, creating scalable reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and ancillary tools, and partnering with stakeholders to translate data into business impact. You'll own end-to-end analytical solutions and help shape a data-driven culture across the organization. The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively is critical to your success in this role. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, identify data-driven opportunities, and translate requirements into analytical solutions
  • Analyze data from platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and M365 to uncover actionable insights
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power Bi to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Take ownership of end-to-end analytics projects from data discovery to final dashboard delivery
  • Proactively identify data quality issues, data gaps, and process inefficiencies, and recommend solutions
  • Build reusable data models and scalable reporting templates to support multiple departments
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis around various business subject matters, and provide data driven and actionable insights through the creation of reports and data visualizations to facilitate business decision making
  • Use independent discretion and judgement using data findings to provide recommendations that 1) impact sign, develop,

  • Analyze and interpret results using standard statistical tools and techniques

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or similar analytics role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Self-motivated with the ability to define, structure, and prioritize work
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align analytics with organizational goals
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power BI for dashboard and report development
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL for data querying, manipulation, and validation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with dimensional database models
  • Proficient with data visualizations and data storytelling to drive insights and decision-making
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as MS Fabric, Azure, Snowflake, or Google Big Query is a plus
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for data analysis and automation is a plus
  • Experience integrating data from APIs or other external data sources a plus
  • Experience in mapping business processes and recommending changes to better align with analytical needs
  • Experience with one or more of the following business platforms preferred: Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow
  • Experience in analytics for Human Resources, Insurance, or Medical Billing a plus
