Hornblower is seeking an Engineering Technician, Mechanical for our Seaward Services operation in Norfolk VA. About You: This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody Hornblower's RESPECT Service System. About the Opportunity: This role will be working with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, upon reward of contract. The Engineering Technician, Mechanical provides advanced technical support for the testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of small watercraft mechanical systems. This role requires hands-on expertise with propulsion, steering, hydraulic, and auxiliary systems, as well as leadership in guiding a team of technicians performing complex mechanical work. The technician ensures that all maintenance and testing activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and technical manuals.
