As a Security Officer - Armed Cultural Site Patrol - Full Time in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols in a dynamic cultural institution environment. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain a visible presence throughout the location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, monitoring for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or potential hazards.
• Assist in helping to deter criminal activity and/or disruptive behavior through visible presence and proactive engagement.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings within the cultural institution environment, reporting any concerns or unusual observations to the appropriate parties.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
