Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Manager to join our fire business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:




  • Oversee day-to-day company service operations.
  • Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes.
  • Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of service operations including Service and T&I.
  • Coordinate support to operations throughout the business.
  • Interview, hire, train, and mentor the operations team.
  • Provide regular performance updates to the senior leadership team.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on service operations projects and systems.
  • Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
  • Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.
  • Establishes, communicates, and implements service operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
  • Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
  • Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the Company leadership.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
  • Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Service emails
    • Tech management
    • Service Tech calls daily
    • Service Vacation Approval / Tracking
    • Review service tickets
    • Research & Ordering Parts
    • Service Proposals
    • Over sees scheduling
    • Service call preparation
    • Field management
    • Time Card management of field technicians
    • Client meetings




Basic Qualifications:


  • Trade School
  • Working knowledge of the fire and life safety business


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Extensive knowledge of Fire Alarm in the NYC Metro area
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software



Salary: $140,000
