Job Description

The Financial Analysis Analyst III is responsible for analyzing financial results across key products, markets, and business initiatives. By leveraging analytical skills, this role supports the creation of compelling storylines that deepen client insights and inform strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
  • SQL Data Extraction & Filtering: The ability to use select statements to pull specific data and where clauses to filter relevant information, such as sales by country or profit by product.

  • SQL Data Transformation: Using functions to clean, re-format, and convert data types, such as extracting years and months from date columns. Joining Multiple Tables: Combining data from various sources, like transaction data with market data, to gain a comprehensive view of financial performance.

  • SQL Data Aggregation and basic calculation: Using GROUP BY clauses and functions like SUM() and AVG() to calculate total revenue, profit margins, or other key financial metrics.

  • SQL Complex Queries: Writing more advanced queries with conditional logic (like CASE statements) to analyze trends, identify high-cost products, or perform customer segmentation

  • Develop effective presentations for small groups that communicate complex financial information clearly and persuasively.

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, providing insightful analysis to help business partners enhance performance.

  • Use financial analysis to influence and drive action within the finance department and among business partners, apply fact-based, holistic, and forward-looking perspectives to identify emerging issues and assist in implementing strategies.

  • Help build and prepare storylines for financial updates, ensuring that key messages are clear and impactful.

  • Isolate key business drivers, quantify their impacts, and forecast implications for the organization.

Skill Requirements:
  • Preferred: SAP S/4Hana, SQL, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $48,000.00 - 78,937.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
