Job Overview: The Department of Disability and Aging (DDA) is seeking a Director of Public Guardianship and Unlicensed Facilities Registry. The Unlicensed Facility / Public Guardianship Program Director provides dual-role leadership within the Department of Disability and Aging. Fifty percent of this position is dedicated to directing and overseeing the daily operations of the Unlicensed Facilities Registry, ensuring compliance with state regulations, policies, and standards. The remaining fifty percent serves as the agencies Public Guardianship Program Liaison, coordinating support for district Public Guardians, advocating for the rights of individuals under public guardianship, and serving as a key point of contact for district Public Guardians across the state. Public Guardianship Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in gerontology, gerontological services, human services administration, psychology, public health administration, sociology, or social work. OR Three (3) years of professional experience in administering, planning, evaluating, or assessing human service, mental health, or gerontological programs.
