As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist visitors, contractors, and employees with site-specific entry and exit procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Work closely with site staff to provide a visible security-related presence and support customer service needs.
• Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain order and support operations at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
