As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff and visitors, respond to situations as needed, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs in accordance with site procedures.
• Collaborate with store personnel and/or management to address concerns and support a positive customer experience.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
