As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following instructions from Allied Universal and site leadership.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to company and client procedures.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
