As an armed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall protection of people and property.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential issues.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within a technology and telecommunications environment.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to address and resolve security-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns if required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
