Warehouse Clerk - Parts - Delanco, NJ

The Warehouse Clerk - Parts is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing parts and materials to support service operations and equipment maintenance. This role ensures inventory accuracy, efficient organization of the parts area, and timely fulfillment of internal and external requests. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities



  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure all parts are properly labeled and stocked.
  • Pick, pack, and issue parts to technicians, service departments, or customers as needed.
  • Process inventory transactions accurately in the warehouse management system.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify the Shop Manager or Supervisor when reorder is needed.
  • Assist with cycle counts and full physical inventory activities.
  • Prepare parts for shipment, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the parts warehouse.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely.


Other Responsibilities



  • Assist with returns, warranty parts, and core management processes.
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide backup coverage for other warehouse or inventory roles as needed.


Requirements



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3yrs of warehouse, inventory or parts room experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, inventory systems, ERP).
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must pass background check and/or drug screening as applicable.
  • Warehouse setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and material handling required - ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
  • Safety shoes, gloves, and safety glasses required when in warehouse areas.
  • Basic hand tools, barcode scanner, forklift/pallet jack, and computer workstation.
