Job Overview

Responsible for sales growth and key account development of Trace Analytics compressed air testing services. Formulate sales strategy and implement plans to grow sales team revenue and market share. You will also be responsible for successful implementation of account development for new and existing strategic distributors. Candidate must be knowledgeable regarding sales solutions and sales team management. You will establish yourself as the significant point of contact for new clients and current customers, particularly at tradeshows and events. Travel is required for training and tradeshows.

Responsibilities


  • Manage Trace Analytics compressed air testing services sales growth.

  • Lead a 3-person sales team by monitoring KPIs, supporting development opportunities, driving efficiencies, and handling customer escalations.

  • Partner with management to implement strategic initiatives through creative problem-solving and teamwork.

  • Build product and solution expertise to empower the team and channel partners to serve as trusted advisors to customers.

  • Lead account penetration strategies, coach distributor personnel, and mentor sales teams in consultative selling to expand market share and differentiate Trace Analytics.




Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in managing a solutions-based sales team.

  • Experience working with industrial equipment such as filtration systems, dryers, compressors, or similar machinery within manufacturing settings.

  • Applies critical thinking and robust analytical skills to identify root causes, assess customer needs, and drive effective problem resolution.

  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and communications simultaneously while assisting team members with complex challenges.




Preferences


  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Management or related areas.




Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements


  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30-50% of the time.


  • Will be requested to represent Trace Analytics in a positive and professional manner when needed to attend trade shows, industry functions, or other events.





Pay Range

The total pay range for this role, not including incentive opportunities, is $75,000 - $90,000. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
