Capitol BridgeArlington VAis lookingfor a proactive and adaptableCollections Team Supervisorto lead a small team of analysts responsible for first-contact communications with customersregardingoutstanding payments. This role requires a balance of leadership, process oversight, and hands-on support. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, customer-centric approach while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with internal standards.

Location:Onsite in Arlington, VA (or surrounding areas within a commutable distance)

Schedule:On-site, Monday-Friday,9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay and Benefits:

Salary Range: $$65,000-$75,000per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

Supervisory




  • Supervise and support a team of Collections Analysts, providing guidance and coaching to ensure high-quality customer interactions.





  • Monitor daily workflows, call volumes, and account updates tomaintainproductivity and accuracy.





  • Serve as an escalation point for complex or sensitive customer situations, applying strong de-escalation and problem-solving skills.





  • Collaborate with operations and other internal stakeholders to refine processes and share account information.





  • Track performance metrics and provide regular reporting to management.





  • Assistin developing and adjusting strategies as the team pivots toward more effective approaches.





  • Ensure adherence to company policies andmaintaina professional, customer-first tone in all communications.




Analytical




  • Proactively reach out to customers via phone/emailregardingpast-due accounts.





  • Communicate payment options andassistcustomers in resolving outstanding balances.





  • Maintainaccuraterecords of all interactions and account updates in internal systems.





  • Identifyand escalate complex issues while working toward amicable resolutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:




  • Required:





  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.





  • 3+ years of experience in collections, customer service, or account management.





  • 1+ years of supervisory or teamleadexperience.





  • Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.





  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.





  • Preferred:





  • Experience in process improvement or workflow optimization.





  • Familiarity with CRM or case management systems.
