What you'll do:

  • Develop and lead a project management structure for a multi-year business transformation agenda to support the San Antonio long-range plan (LRP).

  • Plan and execute projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

  • Oversee the portfolio of projects for the Commercial Programs group, ensuring alignment with the organization's business goals and delivering maximum value.

  • Facilitate the portfolio management of projects across the business unit (BU) to meet savings targets and value capture.

  • Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of project management frameworks, governance practices, methodologies ad standards for project management.

  • Manage project budgets, resources and timelines, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Lead, coach and mentor project managers and teams to enhance performance and professional growth. Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and develop contingency plans.

  • Assess project implementation support needs, provide appropriate support resources and recognize and resolve project implementation issues.

  • Measure progress and ensure that the overall implementation plan is met and that the intended results are achieved for the customer and company.

  • Manage one skilled employee, the Coordinator, Facility Project. May require 5% of domestic and international travel.

What skills you'll use:

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or in a related field and Three (3) years of experience as a Production Manager, Facilities Engineer, Process Engineer or in a related manufacturing or production role.

Special Requirements

Work experience with: Facilities and process engineering including: design and management of the installation of chemical cleaning facilities, compressed air systems, heat treat pyrometry, process gas piping, waster water treatment, hoist and crane systems, thermal spray systems, and electroplating facilities; facility planning and simulation; MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) including; FAA part 145 req requirements, MRO quality systems, configuration controls, and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software and Quality systems; project management including scoping projects, budgeting, and vendor management; cross-fun functional project and integration experience in MRO industry; gas turbine/accessory design theory; machine shop practices; and, precision measuring instruments; interpreting drawings (including tolerancing).
