Sales Operations Analyst - Fast-Growing CPG Brand

A rapidly scaling consumer products brand is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to support its upcoming 2025 retail launch. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Operations, and Finance, driving accurate forecasting, inventory planning, retail execution, and performance analytics. You'll partner closely with leadership to forecast demand, build dashboards, analyze sell-through trends, and resolve retail deductions-playing a key role in ensuring products move seamlessly from production to retail shelves.

Responsibilities




  • Build and maintain sales forecasts; analyze sell-in/sell-through trends across SKUs and channels.



  • Develop dashboards and reporting for demand planning and inventory performance.



  • Translate forecasts into production and replenishment plans; partner with supply chain and 3PL teams to manage inventory levels.



  • Support new product launches, planograms, promotions, and retail execution.



  • Research and resolve retailer chargebacks, deductions, and compliance issues; maintain accurate data in retailer portals and internal systems.



  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align forecasts, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement.




Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.



  • 1-3 years in sales operations, retail analytics, or supply chain (CPG/retail preferred).



  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Google Sheets abilities.



  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.



  • Excellent communication skills and a self-starter mindset.




Bonus Skills




  • Chargeback management, EDI, or retailer compliance experience.



  • Familiarity with trade spend or demand planning tools.



  • Experience supporting large retailers (e.g., Walmart).
