Conduct quality assurance and control across 3 Louisville operations, ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards. This includes inspecting processes, equipment and outputs to maintain operational excellence, in addition to managing all continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain quality management policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives. This involves ensuring that all employees are aware of and adhere to these policies.
  • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance and training to ensure that all team members are equipped to meet quality objectives. Also, evaluates team performance and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Gather, analyze, and manage quality related data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Regular reporting to senior management on product quality and compliance issues will be required.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company by addressing customer concerns related to quality ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align quality management strategies with business goals, driving operational excellence and contributing to the organization's long-term success.
  • Manage and facilitate all continuous improvement initiatives and strategies.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture within the organization by prioritizing opportunities and execution of lean transformation strategy and metrics.
  • Drive plant cost savings initiatives and provide guidance for projects and kaizen events.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's in Quality management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to lead and mentor quality assurance teams, and proficiency in quality management systems and relevant regulatory compliance matters.
  • Experience in project planning, execution, and collaboration across cross-functional teams is essential.
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated ability to execute improvements through 5S, Kaizen, Root-cause analysis, value stream mapping and other lean manufacturing tools.
