ADULT ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST / H14B SUMMARY: This position is responsible for determining optimum Careertech program needs for offenders committed to a correctional institution; position also provides advice and networks with relevant partners concerning pre and post release support for offenders to support their re-entry into the community. SALARY/BENEFITS: $36,794.52 - $44,768.83 commensurate with education or experience.
Total salary and benefits package valued at $50,289.79 - $58,761.42. MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY: None COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees. Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to other employees. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations as applicable. (For example: add, subtract, multiply and divide). REASONING SKILLS: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to find solutions to problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: Requires valid driver’s license. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position based at Lexington Assessment and Reception Center. Lexington, OK. When job functions are performed within a correctional environment, entry and exit from the workplace will be controlled by correctional facility.
