Job Description




As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrols Full-Time in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will remain visible throughout the location, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with all individuals. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support Allied Universal and client-specific policies, procedures, and standards at all times while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Hospital role requires proof of vaccination.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
