What to Expect
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Systems Manager to supportour Supply Chain Organization by leading the software development initiatives of key Tesla supply chain applications. You will be part of a team that is managing strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across all of Tesla's Supply Chain Management Team. The role requires the ability to build strong cross-functional working relationships with our technical engineers, supply chain, finance, internal audit, and vendor onboarding teams, as you lead respective software development lifecycle from requirements articulation through feature deployment. You will interact with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including our buyers as well as executives on a regular basis and hence require the ability to perform hands on operational tasks as well as strategize and communicate on longer term complex solutions. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing as well as presentation skills are crucial, as is the ability to synthesize complex issues, drive desired outcomes, and influence stakeholders across functions inside and outside Tesla.

What You'll Do
  • Own and lead software products used by Tesla's global supply chain teams, including roadmap planning and execution
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal application requests, gathering requirements and aligning with cross-functional teams
  • Document business requirements with clear use cases, workflows, and dependencies; propose scalable technical solutions
  • Partner with IT engineering teams to design and implement robust applications and workflows
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and create user-friendly product documentation
  • Align priorities across independent contributors and senior leadership to ensure smooth adoption and integration
  • Manage feature prioritization and resource allocation through agile sprint cycles, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategy

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience (Information Systems Management preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in software product management or similar roles, with proven success across the full development lifecycle
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders (IT, supply chain, finance, legal)
  • Experience with operational metrics and dashboards; SQL and visualization tools are a plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Outstanding communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills

    Expected Compensation
    $92,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
