As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading Tech, Media, and Telecom location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
