About the Opportunity

As part of the Data Mining Group, the Research and Creation Team Specialist (RCT) is an integral part of a dynamic team, supporting and facilitating the recovery of healthcare payments. RCT Specialists handle inbound calls, initiating new files, and identifying potential Subrogation claims. This role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail to ensure accurate file setup, effective documentation, and early recognition of recovery potential.

What you'll do




  • Answer inbound ACD call line and provide prompt, professional customer service to members and insurance companies.



  • Create new claim files with accurate and complete information.



  • Regularly accesses client systems to gather information used to create inventory.



  • Uses multiple computer systems to review claim data and work efficiently.





What experience you bring (Role Requirements)




  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the health insurance, legal, property and casualty or related fields is preferred.



  • Professional communication skills.



  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to adapt to new tasks



  • Strong organizational skills



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills



  • Word and Excel proficiency required

Pay range:This is a non-exempt position at $25.00/hour.
