What You'll Do:

• Control access to the manufacturing and industrial facility by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and/or visitors.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe for any security-related concerns or hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with directions, information, and security-related inquiries.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or breaches according to site guidelines.
• Work closely with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
