Clinician - Children and Families' Emergency Services (Full Time)

If you have a desire to make a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents, then consider joining our multi-disciplinary team of committed professionals in our Children's Behavioral Health Program. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, creative, and nimble in responding to crisis situations, and will maintain an anti-oppression, non-stigmatizing approach. Knowledge and understanding of various treatment approaches including trauma, developmental, and substance abuse related issues is highly preferable. Experience working with children and families is required.

Requirements/Responsibilities :

• Services will be provided in the community and office
• Provide individual and family counseling utilizing a variety of modalities in addressing a diverse population, including complex trauma, social determinants of health, underrepresented populations, and social challenges.
• Provide crisis assessments, risk management, and safety planning.
• Proven ability to assess and intervene with clients and families in crisis
• Comfort and familiarity working within larger systems (e.g., with clients, families, hospitals and other providers, law enforcement and first responders, and with other community partners)
• Demonstrated proficiency in completing biopsychosocial assessments and crisis assessments.

Education/Licensing:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related human services discipline. License eligible or independently licensed. Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) preferred or the candidate will receive free, in-house training to obtain this certification SUPERVISION FOR INDEPENT LICENSURE PROVIDED.
