Join Gundersen Health System and help patients heal, rejuvenate, and restore confidence through advanced medical skin care treatments. As a Medical Skin Care Technician, you will work independently with limited oversight from a Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon, providing specialized care for patients with skin conditions, trauma, and aging concerns.

What's Available:

  • Full-time position, 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)

  • 8-hour shifts between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday

  • Location: Onalaska, WI

  • Department: Dermatology

What do you need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Wisconsin Aesthetician License (AESTH) or Cosmetology License (COSMETOLOG)

  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (hands-on learning) from AHA or Red Cross

  • 3-4 years of experience providing aesthetician services
    Desired:

  • Advanced training in aesthetic specialties

  • 2-4 years of experience in a medical aesthetician role within a physician practice or healthcare system

What you will do:

  • Provide LOVE + MEDICINE through advanced skin care treatments such as microneedling/PRP, chemical peels, HydraFacial, dermaplaning, and microdermabrasion.

  • Educate patients on proper skin care techniques, sun precautions, and pre/post-treatment instructions.

  • Perform consultations and skin analysis, recommending treatment plans and home care regimens.

  • Maintain competency through ongoing education and vendor training.

  • Ensure safe equipment operation and compliance with OSHA and infection control standards.

  • Document patient care accurately in EMR systems and maintain HIPAA compliance.
